Safety agency Ambrey had earlier reported a drone assault on a British-owned cargo ship off rebel-held Yemen, the most recent in dozens of incidents within the Pink Sea.
The Barbados-flagged ship “reportedly incurred minor harm on the port facet” in an assault off the rebel-held port metropolis of Hodeida, Ambrey mentioned, including there have been no casualties.
The ship sped up and carried out “evasive manoeuvres” earlier than persevering with south towards the Bab al-Mandeb strait, the agency mentioned.
British maritime safety company UKMTO mentioned it had obtained a report of an incident off Hodeida.
