A girl has died in a crash on the M25 between a van and three vehicles after a police chase, the incident has been referred to the police watchdog.
The ‘critical highway visitors collision’ occurred at round 4am on Sunday 4 February, with police saying that they had stopped pursuing the van moments earlier than the crash.
The M25 will stay closed between junctions 22 and 25 whereas authority deal with the aftermath of the collision, which is believed to have wreckage scattered throughout all 4 lanes.

Hertfordshire Police mentioned: ‘The M25 stays closed between junctions 22 (London Colney) and 21A (North Orbital Highway/St Albans) following a collision at round 4am this morning.
‘Officers have been in pursuit of a van earlier than the van was concerned in a collision with three different autos.
