BREAKINGBREAKING,
Aaron Bushnell yelled “Free Palestine!” after he lit himself on fireplace and fell to the bottom.
A US army service member who had set himself on fireplace outdoors the Israeli Embassy in Washington, in an obvious act of protest towards Israel’s warfare in Gaza, has died, the Pentagon stated.
The 25-year-old airman, Aaron Bushnell, of San Antonio, Texas, died from his accidents, the Metropolitan Police Division stated on Monday.
Representatives for the police in Washington didn’t instantly return a name requesting touch upon the studies.
Over the weekend, US media studies said Bushnell dwell streamed himself on Twitch, carrying fatigues and declaring he would “not be complicit in genocide” earlier than dousing himself in liquid.
He then lit himself on fireplace whereas yelling “Free Palestine!” till he fell to the bottom.
The footage has since been faraway from Twitch. Native police stated they’re investigating the incident.
The newest incident comes amid ongoing pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli protests in the USA following the Hamas October 7 assault on Israel, which has killed 1,200 Israelis and seized 253 hostages in a cross-border assault.
Since then, Israel’s embassy has been the goal of continued protest towards the Israeli warfare on Gaza.
In December, a protester set herself on fireplace outdoors the Israeli Consulate in Atlanta. A Palestinian flag was discovered on the scene, and the act was believed to be one in all “excessive political protest”.
