DUBAI: Hamas has offered a Gaza ceasefire proposal to mediators which features a first stage of releasing Israeli ladies, youngsters, aged, and in poor health hostages in change for the discharge of 700 to 1000 Palestinian prisoners, based on a proposal seen by Reuters.
The releases would come with 100 Palestinian prisoners serving life sentences in Israeli prisons and the discharge of Israeli “feminine recruits”.
Hamas stated it could agree on a date for a everlasting ceasefire after the preliminary change of hostages and prisoners, based on the proposal.
A deadline for an Israeli withdrawal from Gaza can be agreed upon after the primary stage, Hamas stated in its proposal.
The Palestinian militant group stated all detainees from each side can be launched in a second stage of the plan.
