In 2022 the Division of Homeland Safety’s watchdog opened a felony investigation into the Secret Service’s ‘deletion’ of January 6 textual content messages.
In response to CNBC, the Secret Service was notified of the investigation and ordered to cease its inside forensic probe into the erased textual content messages.
As beforehand reported, the Secret Service was accused of ‘deleting’ textual content messages from January 5 and January 6 by the company’s watchdog.
